Bryn y Wawr - Activities

Bryn y Wawr is a happy and comfortable home. Services users enjoy and are fully supported in a wide range of activities including:

• A fully equiped arts and crafts room

• Access to a large, well equipped, on-site gym

• Access to a large, peaceful hydrotherapy pool

• A polytunnel and vegetable patch. Produce has recently been sold at local markets with the proceeds invested back into this activity

• High specification PC's where service users are supported on the use of the internet, word processing and multimedia projects such as photo publishing

• A fully equiped and spacious kitchen. Service users particularly enjoy baking cakes and pastries

Similarly, service users are supported to access and participate in local events and activities including:

• Work Experience / College Placements / Adult Education Classes

• Tai Chi & reflexology

• Horse riding & voluntary work at the local horse sanctuary

• Ten pin bowling

• Cinema trips & disco nights

• Swimming, pottery & music classes
