Intensive Interaction Training a Success

We are very pleased to advise that we have recently held a one day training course for a selection of staff from all of our homes focusing on ‘Intensive Interaction’ techniques.

The training day was led by the highly regarded expert in the field, Dave Hewett Ph.D, who has published extensively on the subject of Intensive Interaction and Challenging Behaviours.

The course covers the fundamentals of communication and how communication skills develop. Staff learnt about the principles of Intensive Interaction and the benefits of verbal and non-verbal interaction.
