Bryn y Wawr - The Bedrooms

Bryn y Wawr provides 10 large single bedrooms, many with their own ensuite facilities or private bathrooms. The accommodation includes a a self-contained ground floor flat and a 2-bed self contained cottage. Examples of the bedrooms have been provided below:

The team takes real pride in tailoring each bedroom to meet the service users wishes and needs. As such each room is decorated as per the service users preference including colour schemes and floorings.

We operate a policy of choice and collaboration in furnishing and adapting bedrooms. An example of this philosophy have been provided below:

• An annexe at the rear of the building has been converted to provide accommodation for a new service user with significant adaptations made to accommodate specific behaviours and health issues

• Structural alterations were made to the building to provide safe access routes for a service user

• Full suites of adapted furniture have been provided to replace unsuitable items

Bryn y Wawr employs a part time handy man and is well place to meet suitable requests made by service users and to make running repairs.
