Clynsaer House provides accommodation for up to ten adults with learning disabilities, challenging behaviours and mental health needs. Clynsaer is a mixed gender home.
The large, detached property sits in over 3 acres of land and provides comfortable and spacious accommodation with many period features. The house has 10 single bedrooms, 3 with ensuite bathrooms and has large communal areas including a television lounge with Sky television and a Wii Console, a large lounge with full size pool table and a comfortable ‘quiet’ lounge.
There are bathrooms and shower rooms on all floors with a newly installed spa bath. In the summer months the service users make use of the patio area with brick barbeque.
Clynsaer offers an onsite Day Service Centre which provides a large training kitchen, a fully equipped woodwork room, a computer room, an arts and crafts centre, a large polytunnel, raised beds for gardening projects and outbuildings for mechanics / woodwork projects.
These on-site services and accompanying risk management systems, enable service users to develop individual skills, improving their self-esteem and social awareness. We have provided some images below:
The service users at Clynsaer are fully supported to utilise the local facilities and have access to two dedicated vehicles. Regular outings are made to Swansea, Carmarthen and Cardiff with the Heart of Wales train service running from close by and the M4 within 40 minutes drive.
